Gothic Loft A Apartment Barcelona

Located on the first floor of an 18th century building in the Gothic quarter, this modern and bright 1-bedroom apartment has enough room for four persons who want to enjoy a short stay in Barcelona.

The Barri Gotic area is the oldest part of Barcelona with a maze of narrow cobbled streets. Gothic Loft A Apartment has been refurbished in a balanced manner between old authentic and modern stylish elements. The wooden floors and the wooden ceiling beams are the authentic part and the neutral colors and the stylish furniture are the modern part. Daylight comes through the large windows securing a bright and warm atmosphere in the lounge area. Here you can find a double sofa-bed, a beautiful designer armchair and a flat screen television. An open stainless steel kitchen with a dining table close by is equipped with all the appliances you need to prepare a home made meal.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed. With the air-conditioning on you will have no problem falling asleep. The bathroom is contemporary and fresh and has a shower and a toilet. We also provide you with towels.

Location

Barri Gotic, which together with the El Born area, is a part of the historical city centre and a fusion of buildings dating from Roman times to the 20th century. Walk through the narrow streets and visit the Cathedral de Santa Eulalia. This cathedral is the main church of the archbishop of Barcelona and is named after a martyr lady called Eulalia of Merida who died for her faith in the fourth century. Have a coffee or ice cream on a terrace at the charming square Plaçeta del Pí, situated behind the 14th century church Santa Maria del Pí. Take a stroll further on the Calla Montcada and if you are a fan of modern art, go to the Picasso museum and try to feel or understand the bizarre world of this painter who worked in the Barri Gotic from 1895 to 1904. After so much culture it is time for a drink and to enjoy the nightlife in El born. There are a lot of bars, clubs and discotheques which you can visit and when you have enough energy left after a couple of hours then walk to La Rambla and get a real sense of the Barcelona nightlife.
